Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: May 1, 2026

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of Antigency, including dashboard interactions, agent dispatches, MCP calls (when available), uploaded content, generated content, and any connected integrations. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service at /legal/terms by reference.

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use Antigency for any of the following:

  • Illegal activity. Anything that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction or in the United States.
  • Hate or harassment. Content targeting protected classes, including but not limited to race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, and age.
  • Sexual content involving minors. Zero tolerance. Reports are forwarded to law enforcement.
  • Fraud. Misrepresentation of products, fabricated reviews, fabricated testimonials, or impersonation.
  • Malicious software. Distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful code via generated content or merchant pages.
  • Phishing. Deceptive content designed to steal credentials, payment information, or identity.
  • Spam. Unsolicited bulk messaging via the email agent or any other agent.
  • Unauthorized scraping. Using Antigency to extract data from third-party sources without permission.
  • Adversarial prompt injection. Attempts to manipulate Antigency’s agents into bypassing safeguards, council reviews, or tenant isolation.
  • Reverse engineering. Systematic attempts to extract our prompts, models, or proprietary architecture.
  • White-label or resale. Unless covered by a separate written license. Limited rebranding may be permitted on our highest tier; consult your subscription terms.
  • Cross-merchant data extraction. Attempting to access another merchant’s memory, agent outputs, or audit data through any means.
  • Resource abuse. Automated scripts or workflows that exhaust tier quotas without legitimate use.
  • Off-platform diversion. Using the service to drive sales away from your own Shopify store. Antigency is built to grow your store, not bypass it.

  • Adult or pornographic content
  • Multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes

If you are uncertain whether your business is supported, contact us before subscribing.

4. Content responsibility

You are responsible for all content you publish using Antigency, including articles, ad copy, emails, and any other generated output. Antigency provides tools; you approve and ship the output. We may moderate or remove content that violates this policy, and we may decline to generate content that we reasonably believe would violate it.

5. Enforcement

Routine violations follow a graduated response: warning, suspension, then termination. Egregious violations such as fraud, illegal activity, or harassment may result in immediate termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

Appeals: email us within 14 days of an enforcement action. We respond within 5 business days.

6. Reporting violations

If you observe a violation by another merchant or user, report it to derek@antigency.ai.

7. Changes

Material changes will be notified by email and dashboard banner at least 30 days in advance. The effective date at the top of this page is updated with each version.
